Qualified or Part-qualified Accountant
We are seeking to recruit an on-site Qualified or Part-qualified Accountant to join our team.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the following tasks:
- Assist in the preparation of accounts and working paper files for audit & non-audit assignments
- Preparation of income tax and corporation tax returns for partner and manager review
- Companies Registration Office filings for partner and manager review
- Ability to deal with client and Revenue queries
- Adhoc responsibilities as required
- Ability to reconcile and post accounts
- Knowledge of accounting software
The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience working in an Irish accountancy practice
- Recently Qualified Accountant or currently at final exam stage (ACA/ACCA)
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and good business acumen
- Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment and support colleagues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.)
- Knowledge of Sage Accounts Production, Sage Line 50 and Quickbooks is preferable
